: : : Rubbish- your tap water is regulated by authorities. I have given my glider tap water for three years and seen no ill effects at all. A little common sense helps here. Unless you know your water is polluted there is no problem drinking it. and if it is polluted do something about it.
: : : : : We are getting a water coller from rock springs and it is spring water. is it ok to give to SG's??
: : : : : Ok is tap water better?

: : : : DO NOT give gliders water from your tap, You can't be sure of half the chemicals in it, like chlorine and ammonia that can be harmful to your little gliders. The best to give is bottled water or spring would be ok, but I don't think distilled is ok because all the minerals and stuff are taken out.

: : True it is regulated but that doesnt mean it doesnt have chemicals in it. The other day we got a notice in the mail saying that they would be adding ammonia to our water! We are getting a hydrogen peroxide water system and thats the water I'll be giving my gliders. I live in Virginia so I don't know about your water, but usually tap water isn't the greatest.
