Have you tried putting your glider inside your shirt somehow. Body temp. should keep him warm in the day. We have a little gas heater for when it gets cold, but I don't know how safe they are to leave running all night. I would go with Besty suggestion. I'm with you, I would have a hard time leaving my baby with someone else too. But if you let them get to know each other, it should work out ok......good luck with whatever you end up doing.
