Chris, It sounds like to me you have nothing else to do but put other people down for their choice in pets. I don't think that you have even owned a Sugar Glider just that you have a lot of time on your hands because you probably don't have any friends or pets of your own. Why Don't you just back off and find another site to go to and bother other people that actually want to listen to you, If you think that anyone here actually cares to hear what you have to say you are fooling yourself!! Get lost and forget your way back!! Crystal : Don't do it - get a dog or a cat or even a bloody hamster - but don't get a sugar glider, they are a fad pet and will go the way of many other fad pets. Where the heck did all those pot bellied pigs go? What about the ferrets? And how come you can't GIVE away a hedgehog?! These used to be the most desired pets till people realized they aren't what they expected. If you don't mind getting bitten, having this critter crap all over the place, including you, leap on and scratch your face and head, be tame one day and beserk the next, deal with the legality issues - let's face it - you want a nice family pet that your children will love too, get a puppy. Mark my words, in about 5 years Sugar Gliders will be passe and something else will be "in". I already notice an increase in "for sale" gliders - ok, allergies, gonna move, whatever - it's all the same. It's a fad pet and you may not admit it, but it's true. P.s. anybody want to buy a pot bellied pig real cheap?!
