hi tammy and zippie, flyte is right. Java used to sleep late. i started getting him up around 8 and then he got used to it, the trick is to give them a small treat, then he will wake up for a little while. if he spends fifteen minutes eating a treat, that is a start. then just gradually start to lenghten the time. with the treat method, you get to trick them into waking up. you are going after the glider's Higher Self: its' stomache. even if he doesn't want to be awake, his stomache will tell him he needs to be! good luck! :) glider love!
