My name is Tim and I am currently a masters student at Texas Tech in Lubbock. I am thinking about getting a glider for next fall since the place I live now does not allow pets. I never even heard of a glider before I got down here but once I saw a picture of one I fell in love with them. ever since I have been spending time researching and making sure that I would have the time neccessary to spend with my future gliders. I know I am not in the perfect position to own a glider but I will have plenty of time to spend with them and I am good about being committed. I really want one!! I have been to almost every glider website and read throuhg most of the old post on this board. I don't mean this as an insult to anybody but there is some really nasty flaming going on. I know I am new to this board but can't we be a bit nicer, maybe. the messages with people "eating sugar gliders" is really sad. First of all I would like to meet the person that could afford it. I know I may be getting some nasty replies for saying all this but I think MOST of what is on here is very useful without the intermittent "junk". Plese be kind in any replies. Thanks.
