I commend you for making arrangements to take your glider with you I do have a few suggestions. Take her nest box or pouch with the cage and also an overshirt with your scent on to hang over the cage. I take mine with me everytime i go out of town and we have a travel cage we use for those times. In it we put their food cups and their water bottle as well as their pouch. at night when we go to bed or anytime they are not with us we place our shirts over their cage. That way they still feel us nearby even though the surrounding are unfamiliar. whatever you do don't change their diet while you are gone. Try to keep as much of her items in the travel cage as you can.. as far as leashes are concerned I have a gliding glider and I am not one to restrict my Baybe's membrane there are tethers out there that fit on their necks, I haven't seen either one yet that I would be happy with but there are other ways to keep them from flying out of a pocket, You have the hip-pack is that what you normally carry her in?
Good luck

: This weekend we are going to Maine for 4 days, and I am bring my glider, Roo, with me. Then the weekend after that we are bringing her to Long Island for 2 days. Nobody I know would be able to take care of her, plus she is soooo bonded to me. Any way, any tips? We are bringing her in a 3 story hamster cage with an exercise ball, and plenty of polar fleece for warmth, and of course my beltpack for bringing her everywhere, including L.L.Beans. Well, any tips would be helpful. 1 more thing, what about leashes? I've heard plenty about them? Do they work? Thanks.
