Tim, On pneumonia, I know one way for gliders to get it is if they inhale water while people are trying to bathe them or if they fall into water (such as an open toilet). They don't know to hold thier breath, so water gets into the air ways. Also, gliders should be kept warm (70-85 degrees) and dry. If you HAVE to bathe your glider, be sure to hold it against your skin so it is warm until completely dry. Try NOT to bathe them...it is risky. Gliders are hardy little creatures as long as you know how to care for them and pay them plenty, plenty, plenty of attention. It is important to feed them a healthy diet and stay up with the research because new things are being learned all the time.
