: I'm not an expert on the gliders but i managed to nurse to help my baby to health with the same problem. What saved my gliders life is Neo-Calglucon Syrop, which is the liquid form of calcium. I was given him .50cc of it avery twelve hours (using surrenge). You can purchase this syrop or alike medicine in almost any Vet Hospital, just call around if you decide to do use it. It's pretty expensive: I paid $32.00 for 8 oz, however i have almost the whole bottle left for the future use. If you really suspect hind leg paralysis don't wait to start treatment. If you notice him shaking too much reduce the dosage. Don't add any other calcium supplements or vitamins except for maybe vit D3 supplement.

Thanks Pebbles. That is just what I needed. He is so weak it scares me. He does not recognize fruits or Brisky's as food. We have been giving him nectar with the supp we use mixed in it by eye dropper as often as he will take it. I will start diluted baby food by eydropper in the morning and call the vet as soon as they open for the Neo-Calglucon Syrop. I have Brisky's, nectar, water, fruit and turkey breast (I cooked the bird myself) in dishes for him but I really think he is starving to death.

To everyone else who replied thanks but I am already doing most of that for all my gliders. I am looking for emergancy possibly lifesaving measures. I have got to get some meat on his bones immediatley. I rescued what I was told on the phone was a healthy family with a single male in a seperate cage.

I picked up a severaly overweight female and male with ? babies in pocket and a little boy I think is actually dying or close to it. I am convinced that is why the "humans" wanted us to come get them. It is breaking my heart.

Everyone please say a pray or send energy Cloe's way. Mud knows if he will make it at this point.
