Subject: What was wrong? Our glider had a respiratory infection. He would drink water, but he didn't show any interest in food--even mealworms. My wife took him to the vet right away. He diagnosed an upper respiratory infection and prescribed some antibiotics. He said that the reason our glider wasn't eating was probably because he had a sore throat. Less than 24 hours after starting the antibiotics, our glider was eating and running around the cage like normal.
