Your situation is very sad, both for yourself and for all glider owners. I feel for your loss but feel you personally must call the museum and explain the situation and explain they may have a loose animal in their museum. They will probably set traps and I will not be surprised if these are lethal ones, this is if the museum already doesn’t have such traps. Forget your pet there is priceless art in that place that your pet could do millions of dollars worth of damage too. you are liable for this damage as I can not believe any museum has a policy of allowing any pets in. Your Mom has a lot to answer for both to you and to the general public which owns the art in the museum. this is not a public interest story you deserve to be vilified valuable art has been put at risk because of lack of foresight. We all love our gliders but have to remember that these are animals and other people do not necessarily feel the love for them we do. Taking gliders to places where pets are not welcome is risky and unwise. We may love them but they are still animals. And unfortunately in many eyes glider=vermin.
