I beleive this behavior is pretty normal. I have four gliders. Both the males and the youngest female rub EVERYTHING with their chests and body (the males use their heads on somethings -- like me & my clothes). I think they are making things theirs by rubbing off bodyoder/gland excretions. Also, I think, with certain items they rub on, it just plain feels good.
