I have heard a lot of stories with people saying that most airlines DON'T allow gliders. This usually doesn't stop people from taking them though. I would not suggest having them fly in the cargo hold since that could be a trip of horror for a glider. Imagine being stuffed in a (cold) cramped spot with some barking dogs and overall loud noise! I have heard of people taking them in their shirts for the flight. This may be risky. I have heard of people falling asleep and being awoke by a passengers scream (of surprise) further down the isle. i don't know what happens if you get caught but I am pretty sure that there is a stiff fine. I would just be very careful and make sure your glider is very sleepy and on his/hers best behavior. Good luck. TIM
