Glad to here you took your glider to a vet asap. The dextrose seems like a quick fix, did he prescribe anything else to help to combat this problem in the future?
What exactly are yu feeding your glider? Could it be something lacking in his diet? Is he showing any other signs? I would keep a watch on him, gliderrs can get hypoglycemic and dehydrated rather fast. Maybe if we knew more about your diet, some of us could maybe help to see if there is something lacking.

Thanks....

: I found Teemu(my male glider)shivering and twitching on the floor of his cage this afternoon. I immeadiately took him to the vet. The vet gave him some oxygen and some dextrose(sugar water)and he was fine in just a few minutes. The vet said he probably just had low blood sugar. He does not eat as much as my female but he does eat. They are supposed to be close to the same age but the female (Tasha) is at least twice the size of Teemu. If anybody has an idea as to what might be going on and how to prevent it please let me know:)
