: Hi everyone, I'm sure there have been many posts with diff. leadbeaters mixes.. but I'm wondering if anyone has one their gliders are especially found of... when I first got my trio I tried one and they wont touch it for anything, I'm also wondering if maybe they wont touch it because I put Rep-Cal in it... Two of my little ones wont eat ANYTHING ( even mealworms..which they will kill for ) that I have sprinkled with rep-cal..picky little critters that they are.. so hopefully one w/o this in it :) : thanks bunches! : Candi and the critter crew For Bourbons recipe go back in the archives to January 01,1999 and look for "My Modified Version of Leadbeaters Posted by Bourbon. Also read Info. Posted by Bourbon on Feb. 14,1999 "Diet Info. Please Read". Here is the recipe that I use. 150ml Apple juice = 5 ounces 150ml honey = 5 ounces 25 grams baby cereal (rice with fruit bits) = 4 Tablespoons(dry flakes). 1/2 Teaspoon Glider Booster. You might try adding 1 shelled boiled egg and see if your gliders will eat it. Mix all ingredients well in a blender until smooth. My male glider is a very picky eater. If I use the egg or chicken baby food in the leadbeaters he won't touch it. If you can find the high protein baby cereal(dry flakes) that is the best to use. I haven't been able to find any. If using the recipe above be sure to add extra protein in the diet, crickets, chicken or lowfat turkey. I also give fruits and veggies. Hope that helps you out! (T.J.)
