You aren't supposed to feen pork to cats either,
but I think it is just a precaution against feeding
uncooked port to pets--pork can carry parasites
and can cause triganosis (I think thats the disease)
but by cooking it well eliminates that risk.

Just make sure any pork you feed your glider is well cooked.
