There has been alot of discussion lately on glider talk (ISGA talk list) lately about spaying females. So far it seems the genreal concensous is you do not get you females spayed. From all I have read, If you are well bonded to your glider, her attitude will not change any once she has mated. She will remain the same. Hope this helps.... JO : I am looking for other opinions on this matter. We have a single female glider (Roscoe)in a separate cage and a breeding pair in another cage. If we decide to mate Roscoe will she be a sweet as she currently is or will she get mean? If mating her will in any way change our relationship I would consider having her spayed. Otherwise do you think it is unfair to leave her unspayed in a house with a breeding pair. It seems to make her crazy. Any insight would be appreciated.
