I take mine with me all the time when I travel...Eos has a smaller travel cage (1X1) and I put some familiar toys and her nesting box in there and off we go. Just for me, I wouldn't feel safe leaving her home alone because of all the things that could happen...spilled food, water, power outage, etc., but I'm a paranoid parent. When we stay in hotels, I check the room really carefully for any glider problems (small spaces she could get into, floor level vents) and if it's safe, she can run free. I don't think I would leave my glider with someone else who didn't have a glider of their own, except maybe a vet, after hearing the horror story posted here recently. Eos gets antsy a little traveling...they are so much like kids, so packing a zippered pouch is a good idea.
Good luck,
Tiffany

: I'm getting some gliders soon, and i live bout 200
: miles from my parents. When i go home i wondered if it would stress out the Gliders too bad to relocate for a weekend like once a month for 2 days or so? I really want a Glider but I don't know anyone here to care for them for a day and i've read that they can't be left alone for over 24 hrs really.
: Please tell me relocation for a weekend once a month is ok.
