I took a parrot cage for Elvira twice. It is 2ft x 1.5ft. I just sneak her in, haven't been caught yet (3 diff hotels). I put her in a closet with a towel over her cage during the day while she is sleeping and the maids come in. At night I just open the cage door and let her go (hotel curtains are much for fun it seems than the curtains at home). One time the hotel only had one entrance, at the front door, I didn't want to risk them finding her and it was only for one night so I just took her pouch out and hung it from a lamp in the corner. She didn't seem to notice at all that she had no cage.
