: We have recently purchased a fig tree for our sugar gliders cage, we were wondering if the fertilizer the tree is planted in, is harmful to the sugar gliders? Do you think the tree will be able to withstand a beating from a glider?

I put three potted Hybiscus in the room that belongs to our alpha family(Myron&Myra) and this spring one was chewed to pieces and the other two I put back outside. They will probably eventually destroy any plant that is safe for them.

I am building new 30"wx30d"x48h" habitat cages for our breeders that will have grass planted in dirt in the catchpan. I will also be planting some smaller flowers and putting in a pot with a Hybiscus in it for them to climb on and eat. Its worth $20 for a new plant every-so-often to keep them happy.

I have thought about using honey suckle so we all enjoy the smell before the flowers get eaten. Is honeysuckle safe? Its not on my plant list at all.
