: : : I've had a male glider for 3 months. He's almost full grown now. The pet store said : : he was younger than he was. We didn't bond as well as we could have. I try to play with him : : as much as possible, but he wakes up at 3 or 4 am and it is difficult : : for me to stay awake long enough for him to be satisfied. He gets very : : upset if I mess with him at all during the day. When I put him up at night : : he seems heartbroken and will peer at me through the cage until I leave. : : He also barks sometimes. I think he is lonely and I want to get another one. : : I don't really want another male, but I don't really want to breed them either. : : Would it be better to get a male or female? I would prefer a baby so that we could : : bond. : I would say it would be best if you get a male if you don't want them to breed! : As for the one that you have try to wake him around 10 or 11 pm. that is when mine wake up and want to come out to play. Okay, but is it okay if I get a baby? Since mine is an adult (just barely) would he accept a much younger male? Do you think they would fight? Mine plays aggressively with me, biting and wrestling. Do you think the new one would get picked on? I am getting a bigger cage (at least 3 ft tall) because the one I have now is just big enough for 1 glider (16x25x18). I hope that will help.
