The first is if they are housed in a galvanized cage, and where they urinate is starting to rust or the cage is dirty, causing the gliders belly to become stained. The second reason is that they could be wild caught gliders, The coat would have a browninsh tint to it with cream color instead of the white, caused by tree sap staining. There could be a third reason, that these gliders are of a different subspecies but that is slim because most of the gliders are comming in from Indonesia. Hope this helps....
: as far as i know that is good.....i'm by NO means an expert, but just from what i saw at the vets...if it is a dark yellow/orange it very well could be urine.....mine were being sedated at the time...so losing bladder functions isn't uncommon til they are awake again.
