Traveling by plane is "ify" with a glider. Some airlines wont allow them to fly at all, others will require they be housed in the cargo area (this is really really bad for the glider). If the flight is during the animals sleep time, some people sneak them on-board in a beltpouch or pocket, praying desperately that the animal will stay quiet/still or remain asleep for the trip (it could be really really bad news for you if it doesnt) Should you get lucky enough to have an airline that will let you bring your sg on-board, you will need a special carry-on or small cage. While you are out of town , you will need to bring a portion of the stuff you would normally use for its care (ie: vitamins, food & drink) and a cage to keep it in at night. Further, hope that nothing happens to stress or hurt your glider because a qualified vet may not be available. Many have travelled with their gliders, and haven't reported incident during the travel part.
