Subject: Daytime Sleepy Bonding

People have always posted "daytime is bonding time, nighttime is playtime." In the last day a couple of people have posted that they let their gliders sleep on in their pockets when they normally don't and the glider has reacted well and become more friendly during play time. Anyway, I believe this daytime bonding theory lasts all a gliders life, and like any good relationship, the one with you and your glider needs work and constant attention. I have had my very tame glider Moe for over 3 years now. I do not carry her around during the day with me. When I come home from work though I plop her in my shirt, or take a nap with her in my collar. When I am doing this regularly, she is very friendly and lovey. When I have not been doing this on a regular basis, she is still very nice, but not as lovey. Its kind of like if she doesn't get the love, I don't get the love. Anyway, I'm not sure I had a point other than you have to continue the bonding process with your glider throughout its life. You never come to a point where it is bonded and is going to stay that way no matter how you treat it...you can backslide even after 3 years. Anyway, I just thought you guys might like to hear about the continual bonding from some one who's had her gliders for longer than most! Good luck with yours!
