Male sugar gliders frequently let it all hang out. They have a bifurcated (split) genitalia which looks kind of like dark pink worms. It is not uncommon for them to let it hang all the way out while they urinate or mark their cage, nest, mate, etc.

: Greetings. We keep a pair of 5 month old +/-(post pouch)Gliders. We have had them for roughly four months, and in the last few weeks the male has been exhibiting signs of what I fear may be a prolapse. When it first was noticed I was able to chase his hemipene back in with a wet paper towel, but more recently I can still chase it back in,but it does not stay in...the tip(s) continue to drop out...and if he urinates during handling episodes it droops out at least 3/4 of an inch!I have been hoping it may have been due to some sort of phase, like "Glider puberty"...but my concern has grown considerably and I am more and more fearing the worst.Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
: Thanks in advance.
