Cheri, I hope that the bond comes quickly and Otis and you become best friends. Chinchillas make excellent pets and are far easier to take care of than gliders. My accident happened over four years ago and I still beat myself up about it. I currently have six chinchillas with three three week old babies that I will hopefully manage to part with. It is funny as many chin peopler have become glider people and indeed Maria here is a major chinchilla breeder.

Milo was my first glider. I am sorry to hear about your chinchilla :( Do chinchillas make good pets? As good as gliders? Can you let them roam the house?
