I think you are forgetting one major factor in gliders. Gliders bond by scent. If they can't smell you, how are they gonna bond with you. The alpha male, glider in the wild, marks everyone of his clan with his scent. This identifies his family. The whole point of owning a glider is for interaction with them, not to stare at them in their cage. Gliders must learn to associate your hands with good things, how will they do that when you are wearing a pair of gloves?
I think all of us have been bitten a time or two, I even had what looked like snake bite on my chin from Caesar smelling Romeo there, because I forgot to wash it. Normally after the first few times, they just quit because it has not effected you.. I think that with any animal, dogs and cats included, you just might get bit. Did you wear gloves when your puppy was cutting teeth.

I would skip the gloves and just keep loving your glider.

My two scents....

: dang i don't even want to think of what that felt like...lol...
: i know with mine...one used to be bity, now both are...so i think i'll try the glove......thing is they don't seem to be biting because they are scared or any of that....seems more like they are testing the skin see if it is good to eat....beauty will let me pet her, but sunshine wants nothing to do with me other than something to climb on..lol
