I don't know if I'll help you very much, because I've only had my baby gliders for three weeks, but I've been trying different kind of baby food fruits, sweet potatos and carrots. They've enjoyed those so far and sometimes I mix a spoonful in with their Leadbeater's. They are getting use to the fresh fruit and veggies. Mine seem to like pineapple, kiwi grapes and melons with mixed veggies.Tonite I tried giving them Gerber's mixed fruit juice with yogurt (comes together in one jar) and they liked that too.I also boiled some chicken and gave them about a teaspoon of it broken up. They went nuts!as for the sleeping in your hand, mine will do that also, but I bought a pouch and although I hear pros and cons about the pouch, as soon as I put it on, they run right in and go to sleep. I can then do other things that i need to get done and still have them with me.I hope this helps you out with your glider.

: Pockets seems to be doing ok, I guess. The last glider I got was a grown male, and she is still pretty young, so it is kind of different (I had to depart with him because of my mom). With foods, she likes to just lick it, she wont really take any big bites if any. She wont eat any nuts, yet. But I am guessing she is still get adjusted. She really likes to like things from my finger, I need to go to the store and pick up some of that plain yogurt like people talk about. She likes bananas and apples so far. Wouldnt touch green beans or her nuts. (I got her Sunday)

: Also, she will fall asleep very quickly in my hand, I have to be holding her for her to fall asleep, then I will just slide her in my pocket. Is it ok for her to fall asleep in my hand, I dont want it to make it so that is the only way she will sleep. It gets tiring to hold her!

: So does this sound somewhat normal for my glider?

: Thanks!
