: I have read in a book by Caroline MacPherson that you can teach your gliders to glide. If they've been in captivity for a long time they "forget" how to glide. She suggests you and a friend place the glider on top of a rolled up towel. You each hold an end and swing the towel (gently, not rapidly)and encourage the glider to glide.
