I think that gliders are far too small to be used for the fur trade. Please be at least a little open minded on the fur trade. I also have chinchillas and without the fur trade chinchillas would never have become pets. The ranchers also gave us their knowledge on the every day care, veterinary care and diet of these animals. Also their mass breeding programs allowed the color mutations which we all adore to become settled and available in real numbers.
I love my chinchillas but would never say anything bad about the ranchers as I know whom to be grateful to.

: Hi,

: I have owned two happy and healthy sugar gliders for
: the past year and can't help but notice their very soft
: mink like fur. Have they ever been subjects of the fur
: trade in any part of the world?

: I want to know this only because I am doing a seminar
: on the fur trade and do keep in mind that although my presentation
: must be mostly in the form of straight forward facts I am not
: for the fur trade at all.

:
: thanks
