My glider will do the same thing so instead of me trying to grab him and convince him that he needs to be in a pocket , I use a fanny pack.To Rocky the pocket is just to scarey or confining for him. The fanny pack is made of nylon so it is washable and the hole is alot bigger to fit a rowdy glider through.
It has a zipper top so its easier to keep him in there, plus once he is in it, I give him a meal worm so he is learning that there is a good reason not to fight it.
I put some quilt backing in the bottom so it's nice and soft.
Now both of my gliders use it at the same time and their quite content.

: Alright, my baby Nostalgia who is about 2.5 months old is just great. She's happy,
: healthy and very active. I just have a real hard time actually HOLDING her in my hand(s).
: Is this natural for all gliders? No matter what time of day/night it is, when i pick her
: up she runs up my arms. I basically have no chance of getting her into a pocket because
: of it. Does anyone have any tips on how to get her to sit still?

: Thanks.
