Crouton is such a cute name! :) LOL

I agree with Rachel...the bonding advice on that page is very good. I have a couple more ideas -
Is one of you bonding with her or are you both trying to? I would do one person for awhile a let Crouton get really used to that person...two people is going to confuse the issue. Whichever of you has more time should carry C in a pocket as much as possible and put their shirt at night in the cage. Try to put a new shirt in there each night so the smell is fresh. This will be hard, but I would try to go at least a week with noone else but the chosen person touching or handling or feeding the baby - don't show him off or anything. He needs to feel really safe and secure. You might try to avoid a lot of loud noise during feeding or playing time for now...6 weeks oop is TINY

I would also suggest feeding pudding or yogurt (lo-fat) from your finger every couple of hours...let him lick your finger clean while you talk softly to him, then pet him with the same finger (he will associate your smell and hand with food). Let him explore you in a safe area, and whenever he jumps off you, gently put him back in your pocket - he will soon learn to go there on his own.
Don't be discouraged - you'll do great. And my glider is close to my husband as well as to me, so the one person thing is temporary.

Happy Glidering,
Tiffany
