Subject: Close Call Posted by Vette on April 22, 1999 at 23:45:36: Heya all, I got home from work yesterday to find my gliders cage open and both of my "kids" were not inside! Worst of all the cat was in the house! Seems my roomate thought they needed to come outside and opened the door of the cage before she left for work! I was scared to death. After turning the house upside down, I found my male in his usual hiding place in the closet safe and sound. The female however was nowhere to be found, I feared the worst. I had of course already put the cat out, and I left some food and water on top of the cage in case she came out during the night. I decided I could do nothing else than go to bed and hope for the best. Upon snuggling into bed, I moved my feet towards the end of the bed only to hear the sounds of a very upset glider at my feet! Turns out she had decided to cozy up inside the pocket of my jeans from the previous day that were laying on my bed! Both are safe now, thank goodness! Needless to say, my roomie got quite the lecture when she got home!!!!
