I have found there to be no cure for the light nibbling. Both of mine do it. Mine will lick a little the nibble and occasionally BITE, but not hard. Seems to be fun for them. I think the licking is more a result of them liking the salt on your skin. I think the bite portion of that ordeal is nothing more than an instinct when they are tasting something the like. No harm intended on their part I'm sure.
