I received my new glider a week ago (10 days actually). I let her get adjusted to her new spaceous cage which she seems to love before trying to introduce her to myself. Obviously, she is going to need some more time to develop a bond to me..this I know. My question is how long on average should I work with her every day?

I use the Double shirt trick every day for a bit, and when she starts getting restless and making the "sneezing squeak noise" (not the normal angry noise) I put her back in her cage. SO in total I have maybe held her 3 to 4 times...and she will definitly crab at me every time I put my hand in the cage (so I usually get her while she is near the end of her sleep period...and I can scoop he up) The crabbing is to be expected though (since she barely knows me)

My question is, should I be this aggressive with handeling her? How long should I expect it to take her to gain interest in me? Anyone have any tricks to make the glider come to you (or me)?

But mostly...how long for the bond? weeks? months? I am afraid of stressing her out.
