: When I got Eos, the breeder told me that you do sometimes have to bathe them, especially babies because they roll around in their food. He also said try to avoid it whenever possible. I always use a wet washcloth, but he showed me how to hold her head between the thumb and forefinger so that when you wash your SG, no water will get near her head. This is very important because gliders don't know to hold their breath under water, and if any water gets in their noses or mouths, it will go to their lungs and cause them to get pneumonia and die! So be very careful...Also, I think you aren't supposed to use any soap. As gliders get older, they learn to groom themselves (like kitties) so maybe the problem will resolve itself. Cool. I learn something new everyday here ;)
