The best way I have found to 'clean' my gliders is to let them do it themselves... with a little incentive from me. :)
I mist them lightly with warm water from a spraybottle... and they go to town grooming and drying themselves and each other. I figured it was the closest I was going to get to actual rainfall.

*Make sure there is no draft.
*Warm water only, no chemicals.

Yes, they stink a little while they are damp... but it doesnt take long for them to dry themselves.
