Keep in mind you left your little guy alone for quite some time. It is reasonable that he is not only angry at having felt abandoned but he probably was not handled over that entire period of time. I would bet that it is going to be harder to earn his trust back now than it was originally but I am sure with plenty of time and commitment everything will turn out okay in the end.
