Some people have written in saying that their glider won't wake up until late in the evening. I alleviate this problem by feeding Foster his primary meal of the day in the evening. I wake him up around 8 or 9 (or whenever it gets dark) and hand-feed him at least the first part of his meal. I put fruits and his ZooFare (and sometimes eggs or crickets) in his bowl and he eats them through the night as he sees fit. Then a clean out his bowl in the morning and give him a little bit of fresh food to nibble on throughout the day.
Fruit can sit all day. It will dry out a little, and you may get some fruit flies, but the dried fruit will not hurt your baby at all. Eggs or cheese, on the other hand, are best to offer and then take away the extra when they are done so that they don't spoil.

Good luck!
Kim
