I would call it more like a lump. When the joey first moves into pouch,, you may see a small size pea. They after a few days it will look more like the shape of a peanut. If you see one lumb, one joey, two lumps, two joeys. So yes, I would say that one welt in the center of her belly is a joey!

: Winnie looks like she has a joey in her pouch. Though I've heard the welt is more pronounced on the sides of the pouch. She has a welt in more of the center of the pouch. Could this be the appearence of the first stage of the joey being in the pouch?
