: : This might be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me why sugar gliders go to the bathroom all the time? Mine seem to always either go on me, themselves or their pouch.I've even taken them out, and set them on a napkin for a few minutes to let them go first, but it always seems like they catch me later.Just wondering..

: ~I don't know why they go to the bathroom so much, but I do know what to do so they won't go on you when you take them out of their cage. Before you take them out, gently brush the area at the bade of the tail with a piece of toliet tissue. This will make them soil the tissue and not you or your furniture. I got this info from Caroline MacPherson's book-Sugar gliders, A complete Pet Owners Manual. Hope this helps

Yes, gliders are poop intensive. I just don't get it, they poop more than they eat. A little poop factory over here. I am just happy that their little droppings are so easy to clean, and they don't stink :)
One time my boyfriend scared my glider while in flight, it was like a B-51 bomber, little tirds falling from the sky. It was very funny!

On a more serious note, the stimulation of the behind really does work.

Happy poopie scoopie
