depends on how much time you spend with them, their personality, and what has happened to them in the past..

they groom themselves contantly, their back feet have 2 toes fused together for cleaning purposes, and the rubbing many times is them marking their new enviroment.. As a precaution though I would still take them to the vet to make sure everything is okay. I was told several years ago that they don't get fleas, I have never had a flea problem with them, and I also notice that they like the monkeys groom each other.
