Hi Brienna,
Do you have any other animals in the house that would bring the fleas in? I have never had a problem with fleas and sugargliders, I imagine that may be a problem for breeders with large colonies, I would suggest sending an email to Caroline MacPherson, author of "Sugar Gliders, A Complete Pet Owners Manual", paulm@netshop.net or visit her website for a link to her she is at www.pygmypets.com

On your new pair, are they breeding pairs? Do you already have another breeding pair or 2 of the same sex? I have heard that breeding pairs should be kept in seperate cages, that is if you want them to breed. If you do not plan on the responsibility of breeding and getting your males neutered, I would think that the group would eventually get along.

Do you have a strong bond with your current 2 adults? I think that you will be able to bond to the adults, you know the trick, LOTS OF TIME! With pleanty of love, care and time, they will bond to you like glue. It just takes patience as I am sure you are already aware.

Congrats on your decision to grow the clan. I am happy that the "un-wanted" gliders will have a new, happier home (try to solve the flea problem before they come home of course).

Sorry not much help, good luck :)

: I have a pair already, and now I will be getting another pair. Someone doesnt want them anymore.
First, will the bonding be difficult with the new?
: Second, Will they all get along (from anyones experience?)
: Third, The pair I have now, itch alot. I need to take them to a vet soon and is having trouble locating one.If they have fleas(which Ive not seen)what do you recommend for it? They always sratch. Or rub against something. Is this normal? Its so cute when they do this though.I love'em so much.
: Sincerely, Brienna
