: I have a pair already, and now I will be getting another pair. Someone doesnt want them anymore. First hand experience, yes they will get along, I had a breeding pair with baby, and I introduced 6 more, the 6 were a mixed matched family from a pet store and they couldnt deal with them any more, would I, course the answer was yes! Our advantage was we built them a new cage, so all 9 were introduce in the new cage together at the same time. Cage is large 6ft high by 5 ft long and 3 ft deep. We put in 4 nesting boxes. We had some nasty fights the first 2 nights, they were long nights. I had a bird cage handy to put in a glider that was boldly fighting, I left bird cage and glider in the large cage, so at least everyones smell was there, when everyone rested, and didn't appear to be hurt, we turned everyone loose again. Introduction was original pair, male & female, male joey. New clan was 1 male and 5 females. Males were the worst fighters, yes there was some serious scratches and wounds, but I was carefull and didn't let anyone get hurt to a serious point. This battle lasted 3 nights, now all is great, I have two females who are with joeys, and I seen one other female mating, so yes it can be done. Remember they will fight in the wild too, it's not something I would like to repeat, but I no we can't take nature completly out of them either. : First, will the bonding be difficult with the new? : Second, Will they all get along (from anyones experience?) : Third, The pair I have now, itch alot. I need to take them to a vet soon and is having trouble locating one.If they have fleas(which Ive not seen)what do you recommend for it? They always sratch. Or rub against something. Is this normal? Its so cute when they do this though.I love'em so much. : Sincerely, Brienna
