Hi Jess... Have you found a local vet yet? If not, do so quickly. Where are you located?

I dont know many of the symptoms of metal poisoning either, but will ask around.
There could be many reasons for the tail... can you tell if it is topical? chewed? is the hair there falling out? does it look pulled out?

Did Roo eat anything last night? if so... what was it? ... try tossing it into a blender, add a few other 'musts' to make it complete... puree it to liquid consistancy. Try to feed it through a dropper, or a spoon sometimes works. Keep trying to feed... alternating with little naps. Curl Roo up into a ball if she's not doing it herself... Hold her, be sure to keep her warm.

Yes, you will get bitten... she's not feeling well. Be patient and keep up the routine.. but most important - contact a vet.
