I don't have a glider yet and I don't know the symptoms. i do know from reading other posts that they get it when they excessively lick the wire. Does your gliders lick the wire alot. if not you have nothing to be worried about. I know alot of people who have galvanized cages on this BB who have had no problems with their cages. it seems like the bigger reasons to get PVC coated wire is for cleanup and rusting protection. I however, am not an expert.
