Avoid catfood. I've heard too many malnutrition stories. The best type of protein source is either ZooFare or Brisky's, both of which are nutritionally complete, and manufactured especially for gliders and hedgehogs. Check out the PawPrint page for ZooFare, and Clara's Sugar Glider page for a link to Brisky's. Anyway, whatever color baby's food is will be primarily the color of the fecesat this point. My baby is just starting to be able to eat the flesh of fruit instead of just sucking all of the juice out of it. He squeezes and licks all the guts out of crickets, too. Your new little one will be okay, just continue soft foods. Some suggestions are:
Bananas (nearly rotten so they are the sweetest), scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, strawberries, watermelon, pears, peaches (too much gives mine diarrhea), green beans, peas, corn, cooked carrots, crickets, ZooFare/Brisky's (Zoo Fare is the consistency of soft cat food), and halved grapes.

Good luck!
Kim
