I was just wondering what the name of the book that you are referring to is. I work in a zoology library and have found a lot of information on gliders in the wild, but none in the libraries around here about them as pets. I have purchased some of the books sold at pet stores, such as the one by Caroline McPherson, but have not found any in the libraries of this area. Thanks in advance. Melissa's Onyx : I just found a book at my library(which is hard to do about gliders) and wanted to share it with you, you probably already knew this, but I didnt. : Stress related illness; : when a glider becomes stressed, their immune system doesnt not work as efficiently as normal. Bacteria can proliferate and diseases can manifest. It can cause stress. : Stress can be caused by illness, inadequate diet, unsanitary living, cages being to small, over-handling, lonesome, boredom and alot more. : They can pull out their hair, bite off their tail-tips or chew them. : And it is difficult to pin-point what exactly stresses out the glider. It can be a number of things. : Well, I did not know this and have been doing alot of reading out of this book. : Thanks for reading. : Brienna
