Hi all,

I just got a new glider (her name is Goober, btw). She's about 4 months old.

My first question is: why all the 'crabbing'?? It seems whenever I handle her (and I've *tried* to keep it to a minimal these first couple of days), she crabs alot. Is this a 'normal' thing?? she seems VERY nervous when she is around my hand... and I've been trying to respect that. I just want to make sure I am socializing here correctly.

I've been keeping her in a 'pouch' during much of the day (but luckily, I've been home, and able to do this). I am considering putting her in the pouch during the day when I am at work (in an office). Anyone see a problem with this??

I've read through alot of material on gliders. Are there any suggestions, warning, gotchya's that y'all might have??
