Kacie,

: the first thing i would like to know is do they stink

: because i would love to get one and if they stink my mom doesent wont one in her house.

Yes, the do have a smell...especially the male gliders. They also sometimes go to the bathroom on things, so you need to talk to your mom about that. Gliders can't really stay in a cage all the time, they get too lonely, so you would have to have lots of time - after 10pm, to play with the glider.

:the second thing is, what do they eat like do you have to purey there food or do you just bye food from a pet shop.

You can buy some food from the pet shop, but gliders also need chopped up fruits and vegatables every night in order to stay healthy. The food I buy at the pet store has to be mixed up in a blender.

I am attaching a link to another website that will tell you and your mom the difficult things about having a glider. There are a lot of GOOD things about gliders, but you have to be ready to take on the big responsibility of having one.

Good luck,

Tiffany
