I wouldn't trust any bugs from outdoors. Even if you are in an area that you are sure there are no pesticides used, who knows where the bugs fly or crawl from. I bet the gliders would love a june bug. Maybe you can call the Zoo (if there is one near you) and ask them where they get the bugs to feed their animals.
